David Gwynn is Reader in Ancient and Late Antique History, Royal Holloway, University of London. Richard Price is Professor Emeritus of the History of Christianity, Heythrop College and Honorary Research Fellow, Royal Holloway, University of London. Michael Whitby is Emeritus Professor at the University of Birmingham.
