Long ago, Dororo’s father, Chief Hibukuro secretly hid a motherlode of gold, intending for it to be used by victims of war. However, since his death, the only clue to its location is drawn upon Dororo’s back. Now, Hibukuro’s right-hand man, Itachi, and Dororo meet across the shore from Bone Cape, set on using the gold for its original purpose. But with the sea separating them from their destination haunted by spirits and Itachi’s crew not being quite as benevolent as their boss, will Dororo really be able to protect her father’s legacy?
