The title 'If Our Paths Ever Cross Again' holds a deep meaning for me. It's not just about meeting someone again-it's about the idea that if we reconnect as though no time has passed, then the time we spent apart was never wasted. Instead, it was time we needed to grow, to understand ourselves better, and to become the people we were meant to be when fate brought us back together.

The people we truly love-the ones who stay in our hearts no matter where life takes us-are the ones we will always greet with an open heart. If our paths cross again, it's because we were always meant to meet again. Our separation wasn't an ending, but a space for us to evolve, to learn, and to prepare for a deeper connection when the time was right. It's about trusting that the love and bond we share with certain people are timeless, and when the universe aligns our paths once more, it will feel like coming home.

This title captures the heart of my book-it's about a growing person navigating life and all the growth, losses, and connections that shape them. It's a story of change, of finding meaning in both the separations and the reunions that come with life's unpredictable paths.

Sara Juliana Bruckner is a student at an international school in Linz, Upper Austria. Her book, 'If Our Paths Ever Cross Again' is the result of her IB Diploma personal project, where she combined her passion for poetry with her newly discovered love for photography. Having always held a deep connection to poetry, Sara saw the personal project as an opportunity to explore and evolve her creative knowledge. To make the experience even more meaningful, she decided to pair her poems with her own photographs, creating a unique blend of words and imagery that capture the emotions and themes of her work. This book reflects not only her growth as an artist but also her journey of self-expression and storytelling through two complementary art forms.
