The Obsidian Corporation, led by the enigmatic Silas Vane, is draining the Cloudsingers of Aetherium, a rare mineral fueling their advanced technology and poisoning the sky. The crew's quest leads them to a volcanic isle, home to the reclusive Storm-Herders and their ancient knowledge of the sky's rhythms.  There, amongst whispers of forgotten pacts and the secrets held by a young Storm-Herder named Kristine Carroll, they discover the true cost of the Corporation's greed.
With Aerilon's fate hanging in the balance, Liora and her crew must unite the disparate islanders, overcome ancient prejudices, and confront Silas Vane's insatiable hunger for power.  Their journey is a symphony of rust and sky, a desperate race against time to reawaken the Cloudsingers' song before Aerilon is plunged into eternal darkness.
