During an unpleasant vacation in Rome, six-year-old Beth visits an old palace that has a magnificent room called the Hall Of Mirrors. There she loses herself in imaginary play with a blonde boy that isn't there. Is he just a figment of her imagination, or could she possibly be remembering something?
