For the Science Comics series, he collaborated with MK Reed on Dinosaurs: Fossils and Feathers and wrote and illustrated Sharks: Nature's Perfect Hunter. Casey Zakroff is a marine ecophysiologist researching how stress impacts marine invertebrates. He is also an avid science communicator, and, now, a comics author. Pat Lewis's artwork has appeared in magazines such as Highlights for Children and Boys' Life, as well as books by Workman Publishing, Macmillan, and McGraw-Hill.
