"The Way Beyond" – Richard Vibart, son of Lady Charmian and Sir Peter, proves to be his father's son by going through numerous wild adventures worthy of Peter's own. However, his way of life gets him in trouble as he becomes involved in a mysterious murder for which he is being accused based of some incredible clues and evidences. An eccentric sleuth Jasper Shrig arrives to young Richard's assistance, trying to get to the bottom of the case.

Jeffery Farnol (1878-1952) was a British writer known for writing romance novels, often set in the Georgian Era or English Regency period, and swashbucklers. Farnol largely initiated the Regency romantic genre.
