It is the story of three friends who form a band in high school, experience their own challenges and triumphs, and with significant interruptions for each, maintain these friendships. It is the story of Palance's search for romance and meaning, his experiences looking for where he fits in as a performer and a human being.The novel is full of joy and sorrow, music and humor.
