I see myself climbing up through issues of pain and pleasure, joy and agony, adjusting to conditions of change and unpredictable circumstances. My poetry is about a walk through some twenty some odd years of hope and heartache, laughs, loss, beauty, joy and wonder...where life is thick and heavy, whimsy and weightlessly wonderful, where moments stand still, and connections click...well, sometimes and some moments.My writing, a place where I can still find meaning in moments. Where I allow myself stillness and where, if I listen closely enough...I can feel my pulse as I tap the keys on my laptop. Writing has always been a secretive and spectacularly safe and healing space for me. So as I exhale, and prepare to share some intimate thoughts, with an accelerated heartbeat, I will channel Brene Brown and her wisdom on vulnerability and bravery.
