Carlo Gébler is an acclaimed novelist, biographer and playwright. His novels include The Innocent of Falkland Road and The Dead Eight. In 2019 he published a retelling of Aesop’s Fables with New Island and Head of Zeus. In 2021 New Island will publish Gébler’s latest novel, an intriguing new take on the Oedipus myth, The Late King of Thebes. He is a member of Aosdána.
