Jeffrey Colvin served in the United States Marine Corps and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and Columbia University, where he received an MFA in fiction. His work has appeared in Narrative, Hot Metal Bridge, Prick of the Spindle, Word Riot, and Painted Bride Quarterly, Rain Taxi Review of Books, Millions, and Brooklyn Rail. In the summer of 2018, Colvin was a Paul Cuffee Scholar at the Cuttyhunk Writers Residency. He is currently a member of the National Book Critics Circle and an assistant editor at Narrative magazine.
