PROLOGUE
Year 2039
The sky was the prettiest midnight blue. The moon was full and shining brightly. The suburb was quiet, but this wasn’t unusual for a neighborhood where the wealthy held residence. The noisy crickets in the grass were the only reoccurring sound besides the humming of a very large engine, which was ripping up the residential street at the moment. The enormous truck was going so fast debris and lose trash was flying up in the air.
The vehicle flying up the street was a black on black Ford F-150 pickup truck. It was complete with four large lights that resided on its rooftop. Mounted over its grill was a front end that belonged on a bulldozer called a Blade. The pickup was sitting up high on shiny rims and thirty-six inch tires. The tires made the vehicle look like it was a monster truck.
The occupants of the Ford were two hulking men. One was behind the wheel while the other sat in the driver seat. The one in the driver seat head moved from left to right, looking at the addresses of the homes they drove passed.
He looked down at the address written on the piece of spiral notebook paper. Once he was sure the address was cemented in his mind, he balled up the paper and threw it out of the window. He then pulled on his black leather gloves and flexed his fingers in them.
Afterwards, he continued to look for the address of the estate he had in mind. Seeing the location to the left of him, he nudged homeboy behind the wheel and pointed to the mansion sitting far away from the gates. The driver gave him a nod and floored the gas pedal. The red needle on the speedometer sped around in a circle, climbing in speed. The F-150 became a flash in darkness it was going so fast in the night. The gates of the mansion appeared to becoming larger and larger the closer the pickup truck came into contact with them. The huge vehicle had gotten about ten feet away from the gates, before the surveillance cameras residing on either side of them zeroed in on the Ford pickup.
Ba-boom!
The gates swung inward as the F-150 collided with them. As soon as the truck crossed the threshold an alarm sounded off, blaring loudly. The large florescent flood lights surrounding the mansion popped on and overwhelmed the occupants of the truck with their illumination. It appeared as if the illumination coming from the flood lights were going to zap the men into dust it was so bright. The men occupying the Ford were unbothered though. They slipped on high tech goggles that allowed them to see through the rays of the lights.
The dude on the passenger side let his window complete down and climbed out of it. He got upon the rooftop and hunched down, holding onto the black bars that held the truck’s flood lights in place. His eyes locked on the double doors of the estate. That’s where he was headed as soon as the transporting vehicle stopped.
“Leave now, you’re trespassing on private property, and if you proceed any further, you will be punished to the full extent of the owner.” A feminine British voice rang out of the loudspeakers hidden somewhere on the estate. When the other surveillance cameras on the grounds lenses pushed outward and zeroed in on the F-150, which was still flying towards the mansion, the voice continued, “Very, well then, you have been warned.”
Instantly, 50 caliber machineguns came up from the rose bushes in front of the mansion and focused in on the speeding pickup truck. As soon as the Ford stopped, the machineguns rattled to life spitting hot flames. The bullets spitting out of the hollowed barrels of the weapons looked more like lasers than ammunition.
Ping! Ting! Zing! Bing! Ring! Kiiiing! Chiiiiiing!
The bullets deflected off of the windshield, blade and hood of the Ford pickup truck. The vehicle was enforced by bulletproof material that was durable enough to stop a fucking grenade round. The machineguns finished spitting and their barrels wafted with smoke. The empty shell casings from their firing lie around them on the ground.
Seeing that the machineguns had finished firing, homeboy on the rooftop ran down the hood of the Ford and did a summer salt off of it. He landed in a kneeling position with his hands flat on the ground. Hearing the barking of angry dogs in the darkness on either side of him, his ears slightly jumped. This prompted him to look from left to right. In slow motion, he saw pit bulls coming at him full speed ahead. The beasts sped up to him and he rose to his feet, prepared to brawl with them.
Brack! Wap! Wamm!
Old boy punched the pit bulls out of the air that leaped up at him. He kicked the third one down and it crashed to the ground, hard. He moved his head back as a fourth hound went flying across his line of vision. Homeboy grabbed the dog by one of his hind legs. Using all of his might, he slammed the beast on either side of him, repeatedly. Once he figured that the hound was out of the fight, he held it up and looked at it closely. Its eyes were rolled to their whites and its tongue was hanging out of its mouth, lifelessly. It was dead!
The intruder dropped the dead dog at his feet. When the remaining pit bulls flew up at him, he extended a twenty inch blade from his sleeve and chopped one of their heads off. He then stabbed another one through its heart and grabbed the last one by its neck. The pit bull tried to bite him in his face. Slowly, the man squeezed the dog’s throat causing it to squirm, uncomfortably. The beast gasped and whimpered. Finally, the intruder ended the animal’s suffering. He grabbed the pit bull by its skull and tore it from between its shoulders. Its bloody spinal cord dripped on the lawn. Tossing both halves of the pit bull on the surface, the intruder drew his blade back into his sleeve and went charging up the steps of the mansion.

Ba-doom! Ba-doom! Boom!
The entire mansion seemed to shake as its entrance doors were assaulted with brute force. The doors rattled and rattled until they swung inward. The dude that rode in on the rooftop of the F-150 truck walked in over the threshold. His head was on a swivel. His terrifying eyes peered out of the holes of the mask. Once he located the staircase, he went running towards it. He’d just placed his boot on the first step when he was met by the round of a high caliber handgun. The impact of the slug slammed into him, causing him to stumble backwards, bumping into the wall. He looked up to see Kingston hurrying down the steps towards him. Outstretched before him was a black handgun with an infrared laser, which he gripped with both hands.
“You broke into the wrong mansion, asshole!” A mad dogging Kingston reported. He was shirtless and wearing pajama pants.
The intruder scowled from behind his mask. He and Kingston went charging after one another. Kingston stopped halfway down the staircase and trained his infrared laser on the intruder’s heart, squeezing rapidly. The gun slightly bucked as spat fire from its barrel.
Choot! Choot! Choot! Choot!
Each bullet that struck the intruder sent him propelling backwards, until he finally fell to the floor. He lay there still as Kingston cautiously approached him, gun trained on his forehead. If he so much as blinked then the next bullet was going straight through his forehead.
“Kingston, are you, okay?” Eureka called out from the top of the staircase. She was standing beside Tristan. They both had handguns and were in their pajamas.
“I’m good, ma. I got his ass!” Kingston claimed as he cautiously moved in closer to his victim. Once he was standing over him, he kept his gun trained on his forehead as he leaned in to pull the mask off his head. Suddenly, the intruder’s eyelids snapped open and he smacked the gun from out of his face. The shot went wild and the handgun went sliding across the floor, spinning in circles. It didn’t stop until it bumped against the wall.
The intruder kicked Kingston in his torso and sent him slamming against the wall. He then jumped upon his booted feet and thrashed his arms. This movement caused twenty inch blades to extend out of the sleeves of his thermal. The soft light kissed off the blades and gleams swept up the lengths of them.
“Shoot ‘em!” Tristan called out as he pointed his handgun at the intruder. Eureka was right behind him pointing her handgun at his ass, too.
“Nah, be easy, I got ‘em.” Kingston composed himself and slid into a martial arts fighting stance. He then tucked his chin and raised his fists, before his eyes. Ready to brawl now, he motioned the intruder to engage him with the wave of his hand. “Bring that ass here!”
The intruder engaged Kingston swinging his deadly blades at his head and feet. The young man moved with the speed and agility of a cat, dodging the blades easily. He countered by firing punches in every exposed part of his opponent’s body, but the blows he landed didn’t do anything to slow the man down. On top of that, he felt like he was slamming his fists into a brick wall. Before Kingston knew it, his face and body was shiny from perspiration. He was breathing heavily and exhausted. He threw all of his best moves at the intruder and it didn’t do anything to faze him.
The intruder, seeing that Kingston had grown exhausted, drew his blades back inside of his sleeves. He then launched his attack, throwing punches, backhands and kicks into every exposed part of his body. The last blow he landed against Kingston dropped the youngsta down to his hands and knees. He rasped out of breath having had the wind knocked out of him. Seeing that he wasn’t in any shape to carry on the fight, the intruder pulled him back up by the back of his neck. He extended the blade out of his right...
