Autoren

Ashley C. Ford lives and works in Brooklyn by way of Indiana, hosts a local news-and-culture show called 112BK, and is currently writing her memoir, Somebody’s Daughter. Samhita Mukhopadhyay is currently the executive editor at Teen Vogue. She is the coeditor ofNasty Women: Feminism, Resistance and Revolution in Trump’s America and the author of Outdated: Why Dating Is Ruining Your Love Life. Molly MacDermot is the Director of Special Initiatives for Girls Write Now. She has served as editor in chief for several teen magazines and published five books.

Founded nearly two decades years ago, Girls Write Now is New York’s first and only organization with a writing and mentoring model for girls. We are a community of professional writers dedicated to providing opportunities for underserved high school girls to develop their independent voices and write their way to a better future. Girls Write Now has been distinguished by The New York Times and the White Housetwiceas one of the nation’s top after-school arts and culture programs, and is a two-time Nonprofit Excellence award winner.
