Eventually he has a vision of a woman who Mike comes to believe is leading him to somewhere or to someone.The more Mike becomes involved with Lowell, and the pretty barmaid at the Crossroads, the more intertwined he becomes in the murder investigation, of which Lowell is the prime suspect. Unsure of what to do, he is afflicted one more time with ';the feeling'This will lead him finally to the swamp itself, where Mike will have to face the consequences of all his thoughts, deeds, and actions with the Swamp Witch.
