Kristen Lepionka is the author of The Last Place You Look (2017), winner of the Shamus Award for Best First P. I. Novel, What You Want to See (2018) and The Stories You Tell (2019). Proves that 'hardboiled' and 'feminine' aren't mutually exclusive. This book is so good it makes me jealous.

Utterly superb - can't remember when I last read such an expertly written and perfectly constructed book that gave me so much pure reading pleasure.
Seriously this is a must read. I loved it.
