This volume includes the French originals and facing English translations.

Guillaume de Machaut (Author) GUILLAUME DE MACHAUT (1300?–1377) was a medieval French poet and composer. James I. Wimsatt (Editor) JAMES I. WIMSATT (1927-2023) was a professor of medieval studies emeritus at the University of Texas, Austin. His books include Chaucer and the French Love Poets, The Marguerite Poetry of Guillaume de Machaut, and Allegory and Mirror: Tradition and Structure in Middle English Literature. William W. Kibler (Editor) WILLIAM W. KIBLER is a professor of medieval studies emeritus at the University of Texas, Austin. His books include The Lancelot-Grail Cycle: Texts and Transformations, Medieval France: An Encyclopedia, and Eleanor of Aquitaine: Patron and Politician.
