Lewis Carroll: Charles Lutwidge Dodgson - better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll - was an English author of the victorian decade, a mathematician, deacon and photographer. His most famous novels are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking Glass (1871). Carroll is noted for his facility at word play and fantasy.
