All the wild kids are doing it. So that’s how it begins. I walk into a museum with one aim: to understand ‘wild’. It’s important. Because if you’re wild, you can fit in. You’re not alone.

Joma West was born in London in 1986. Months later, she was moved to Zambia and she hasn’t stopped moving ever since. Travelling through Africa, Scotland, China, Italy and Japan, stories were her natural companions. Joma currently lives in between places and supports her writing habit by working part time at the Royal Mail.
