"How would you feel if you lost something you loved?"
Still Missing is a sharply curated collection of over 200 missing animal posters, selected from a bank of over 2,000 collected by the author over the course of two years. His self-imposed rules were simple:
- All posters were found in the Greater Los Angeles Area
- In order to take a poster, the author sought out at least three identical posters in a given area so as to not impede the pet owners' quest to find their lost loved one
- All posters were hand-collected by the author
Still Missing is a visually diverse, thematically united collection of art by the everyman, chronicling the beauty and desperation of human creativity, through the perspective of lost pet posters. The project exhibits a wide array of disciplines illustration, typography, poetry, photography, collage, and graphic design in a cohesive body of work. The tone of the book subtly glides between happiness and loneliness, while joyously celebrating the compassion of our nonhuman relationships.
