Iggy is different from the rest of his tribe, the Urks. He isn't interested in the usual things such as flint tools, hunting or boulder-rolling. Iggy is eager to take part, but he'll have to pass the ritual initiation test, which means facing the one thing he dreads more than anything: snakes! In addition to writing and directing plays, Alan trained as a drama teacher. He has written stories and dramas for the BBC (both television and radio), as well as many children's books. Mark Beech completed an art foundation course then a degree in textile design, working subsequently as a fabric designer, then as a milliner. Mark has since returned to his roots to become a successful illustrator.
