Dr Florin Gaiseanu earnt his PhD in Solid State Physics from the Physics Faculty, University of Bucharest, Romania, in 1984. He is Professor at the Institute of Microtechnology, Bucharest, and Centro Nacional de Microelectronica Barcelona, Spain, a specialist in microelectronics, and more recently in life science and consciousness. He is author of 14 patents, more than 215 publications, seven chapters in books published in the USA and Europe, and author of the book "Physics of Consciousness and Life: Informational Model of Consciousness – Information in Neurosciences, Biocomputers and Biosystems". He was a member of the Electrochemical Society, the Conference Committee and Chairman of the International Semiconductor Conference (CAS - Romania) and the Micromachining and Microfabrication International Conference in the USA. He is an Honour Member of the Editorial Board of NeuroQuantology and the International Journal of Neuropsychology and Behavioural Sciences, and a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Information Science and Systems Science of the International Science Research Association, the Archives of Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology, the Journal of Philosophy Study (USA), and the American Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience (2018-2022). His works are indexed by PsycInfo, a database of the American Psychological Association, one of the most trusted in the world in psychological sciences.
