In der Zeit, als das MARQUIS nach Amerika verkauft war, fanden in den USA einige luxuriös ausgestattete Shootings statt. Die besten Fotos aus dieser Zeit sind erstmals hier in diesem Band vereint und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich!
«2015 bekam ich einen Anruf aus den USA … Es meldete sich C. Michael Martell, und gab an MARQUIS kaufen zu wollen. Wir wurden uns schnell einig, und es begann eine spannende Zeit, mit großen Plänen und Ambitionen.
Michael ist ein großzügiger Mann, und er denkt auch groß. In seinem luxuriösen Haus an der Ostküste entstand ein riesiges Fotostudio, mit reicher Ausstattung, und auch das Haus selbst diente als Kulisse. Auch seine Sammlung von Supersportwagen und Schusswaffen kam zum Einsatz. Westward Bound und Marquis Fashion steuerten Latexoutfits bei.
Michael freute sich über das Fetischleben in seinem Domizil, wenn ich Topmodels aus Europa einlud. Zusammen mit dem US-Model Carrie LaChance, die mit ihrem Partner Nate damals noch um die Ecke in Portland wohnte, und Jade Vixen aus New York, hatten wir eine Top-Besetzung für einige spektakuläre Fotoserien, die in diesem Band vorgestellt werden.
Wir hatten großen Spaß; es gab eine bestens ausgestattete Bar (Spiced Rum!), ein Heimkino, einen großen Whirlpool, und einen professionellen Webergrill, dazu eine gut gefüllte Tiefkühltruhe mit besten Steaks …
Leider war das amerikanische Abenteuer nach wenigen Jahren zu Ende; es gab technische und vertriebliche Probleme. Michael gab mir die Firma zurück, die inzwischen in Andreas Reichardt einen neuen Eigentümer gefunden hat, der das Heft erfolgreich weiter publiziert.

Michael is a generous man, and he also thinks big. In his luxurious house on the East Coast, a huge photo studio with extensive equipment was built, and the house itself served as a backdrop. His collection of supercars and firearms was also used. Westward Bound and Marquis Fashion contributed latex outfits.
Michael enjoyed the fetish life in his home when I invited top models from Europe. Together with US model Carrie LaChance, who lived around the corner in Portland with her partner Nate at the time, and Jade Vixen from New York, we had a top-notch cast for some spectacular photo series, which are presented in this volume.
We had a great time; there was a well stacked bar (spiced rum!), a home theater, a large hot tub, and a professional Weber grill, plus a well-stocked freezer with the best steaks...
Unfortunately, the American adventure ended after a few years; there were technical and distribution problems. Michael returned the company to me, which has since found a new owner in Andreas Reichardt, who continues to successfully publish the magazine.
