Yamily Habib is a Syrian-Venezuelan writer and editor living in France, with over a decade in the diaspora. Trained in visual anthropology and cultural history, she’s worked across American media as a journalist and storyteller. This is her first book in English. She believes writing is how the spirit and memory survive—and when she’s not deep in research, she’s prioritizing what really matters: her dogs.
