Most of the artwork in this portfolio is from 2022 through 2024. In Chapter 1, I include previously unpublished, and new drawings from 1981 through 1987. Chapter 2 includes drawings from 2009, 2012, and 2014. All of the drawings are arranged in chronological order. They are all my original artwork.
Most of the drawings are designed to be able to be painted on a twelve inch square mirror, or mirrors in the shape of a golden rectangle, a root-two rectangle, or a root-five rectangle.
The golden rectangle is supposed to be a shape most pleasing to the human eye. Its proportions are derived from the golden section, which is (1+ 5)/2, or 1.6180… The golden ratio can be derived from a root-five rectangle.
