Paintings and etchings from this exhibition will later be on display at the National Gallery in London; the drawings will be shown at the British Museum. This volume surveys Rembrandt' s entire graphic oeuvre, relating his works to those of his students, who learned by copying his drawings and etchings. There are essays on Rembrandt's development and technique as a graphic artist and a detailed study of 40 drawings and 40 etchings by Rembrandt.
