Published to coincide with Schweizer's 80th anniversary, this book offers space for the unflinching form of the artist's observations, his own positioning in a world whose crises and incongruities preoccupy him. Starting with a comprehensive, never-before-shown group of works from the 1980s, connections are drawn to all the creative years and especially to Schweizer's current works.
Céline Gaillard und Simone Kobler sind seit 2019 Co-Direktorinnen des Kunst(Zeug)Haus Rapperswil-Jona. Davor war Céline Gaillard als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und ab 2018 als Sammlungskuratorin am Kunstmuseum St. Gallen tätig, Simone Kobler war 2015-2019 Ausstellungskuratorin am Vögele Kultur Zentrum in Pfäffikon SZ.
