Invaluable life advice from a sassy and wise little artist boy, all delivered in Magda Archer's inimitable loud, cute, kitsch style
'I LOVE Little Artist Boy' Philippa Perry

Step into the colourful world of the Little Artist Boy. Linger for some time. Not too long mind, he has things to be getting on with. Whether you're in the clutches of a bad day or you have a spring in your step from having a good one, you'll find just what you need in the wise, funny, smart and sensible (but never dull!) words of Little Artist Boy.

In a collection of sassy and wise quotations, he dispenses comfort and advice on all areas of life - from 'There's nothing like a game of crazy golf to clear the air' to the virtues of a smock and beret, to the effortless 'Stop being a mug'.

Magda Archer studied at Ravensbourne College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and The Royal College of Art. Since her first solo exhibition Crazy Mad at The Cornerhouse, Manchester in 2011, Archer has shown across the UK and abroad including in Peter Blake: About Collages at Tate Liverpool (2000), the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts (2012-13; 2018; 2020) and her breakthrough exhibition #givemeeverythingandnothingbaby at HOME, Manchester and Chapter Arts, Cardiff (2015). Archer has collaborated with Comme des Garçons, Jenny Packham, and most recently Marc Jacobs; she has made acclaimed street posters as part of the renowned Flying Leaps project, and Jack Arts are currently running a poster campaign involving one of her pieces, 'Is It Over Yet', across the UK.
