Celia Soares is a university professor and researcher. Emília Simão is Vice-Director and Professor of Multimedia and Arts at Gallaecia University (ESG) and also invited Professor of Multimedia at Portuguese Catholic University (FFCS-UCP) and Visual Aesthetics at Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (ESECD-IPG). PhD in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms by Porto University (UP), MSc in Multimedia by the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) and Art Studies by the Superior Artistic School of Porto (ESAP). She focuses her research on Electronic Music, EDMC, Underground Music Scenes, Post-modern Aesthetics, Media Arts, Art and Technology, Digital Culture and New Media. Coordinator of ObEMMA-Scientific Observatory of Electronic Music and Media Art, member of CITCEM-Transdisciplinary Research Centre for Culture, Space and Memory (UP) and CiESG-Research Center on Multimedia and Arts (ESG), Portugal.
