¤ Né en 1933, Hugo Brutin est licencié et agrégé en philologie romane, licencié en philologie orientale et en philologie et ethnologie africaines (Université catholique de Louvain). Il a été professeur de français et d'italien à Courtrai. Critique d'art, membre de l'Association internationale des critiques d'art, collaborateur à Radio 2 (1988-1998) et ex-membre de la commission d'achat de la Communauté flamande, il est l'auteur de catalogues et de monographies d'artistes, et rédacteur dans des journaux et revues nationales et internationales.
¤ Born in 1933, Hugo Brutin is a graduate and teacher of romance philology, a graduate in oriental philology and in African philology and ethnology (Catholic University of Leuven). He taught French and Italian in Courtrai. Art critic, member of the International Association of Art Critics, contributor to Belgium's Radio 2 (1988-1998) and former member of the acquisition commission of the Flemish Community, he is the author of catalogues and monographs of artists, and writes for newspapers and national and international reviews.
¤ Geboren in 1933, Hugo Brutin is licentiaat geaggregeerde in de Romaanse Filologie en studeerde daarnaast Oosterse filologie en Afrikaanse filologie en etnologie aan de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Hij doceerde Frans en Italiaans in Kortrijk. Hij is kunstcriticus, lid van de Internationale Vereniging van Kunstcritici (a.i.c.a.), gewezen medewerker beeldende kunst aan Radio 2 (1988-1998), gewezen lid van de aankoopcommissie van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap, auteur van catalogi en kunstmonografieën en redacteur in kranten en nationale en internationale tijdschriften.
