Miro, one of the greatest painters and sculptors of the 20th century, is probably the artist who has most identified himself with the colours and creativity of the Mediterranean. Now Miro is travelling to Greece from his native Spain. The exhibition "Joan Miro: In the Orbit of the Imaginary", organized in the Goulandris Foundation Museum on the island of Andros in Greece, focuses particulary on the artist's mature works, from 1957 onwards. This book features more than 100 colour plates illustrating some of Miro's most colourful works and includes an anthology of the artist's thoughts.
