The publication presents 31 portraits by the photographer Albrecht Fuchs of artists who exhibited and realised performances at Kölnischem Kunstverein between 2014 and 2018. The meticulously composed colour portraits fit both seamlessly and complementarily in Fuchs' long-term series of portraits. They are marked by the same aura, characterised by a strange tension. Fuchs faces his sitters with a mixture of respectful distance and empathy.
