Tim Burgess was born in Salford and grew up in Cheshire. He left school at sixteen to work at ICI and soon afterwards he was invited to join The Charlatans. They have gone on to have 3 number #1 albums and 17 top 30 singles. For over a decade, Burgess lived in Los Angeles but now lives in the UK. Follow him on Twitter: @Tim_Burgess
