They involved a violently erupting volcano, lahars, falling through the predator ice, attacks by lurking saber-toothed cats and lions, and being raided by the Palomino Pony People warrior braves as they trekked across the plains of the North American continent in their long Mammoth People mammoth caravan. The verification of everything implied in the book is in the interpretations, a few of which are given in the book along with photos of the artwork thats being interpreted. They should give the reader a feel for how the microlithic abstract art... works.
