The Wiener Werkstätte was a group of artists, craftsmen and designers, founded by Koloman Moser and Josef Hoffman in Austria in the early 1900s. Mela Köhler trained at the Vienna School of Applied Arts under Moser and created many postcards for the Werkstätte. This fashion image depicts a woman wearing fabric with Moser’s Bergfalter (Mountain Butterfly) design.
