Autor

Margaret Plant is Emeritus Professor of Visual Arts at Monash University, Melbourne. She has written books and articles in the fields of Australian art, European art in the twentieth century, Italian art in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, and culture in Venice in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries over many years. Her most recent book is Venice – Fragile City 1797 - 1997, published by Yale University Press in 2002 and described by Hilary Spurling as "extraordinary".
