Harald Haeuser's series of drawings of the Fado singer Amália came to existence after visiting Portugal for many years.During that time he became more and more fascinated by the country's rich culture - especially by the traditional Fado music.
Harald Haeuser was born in Marburg/Germany in 1957. He grew up in Paris and at Lake Constance and studied painting at the academy of fine arts in Karlsruhe. He works as a free lance artist - specialized in large scale paintings, drawings and ceramics.
