An inclusive, contextual, and student-friendly way to discover the whole world of jazz
REVEL™ for Discover Jazz presents an inclusive overview of the history of jazz, with balanced coverage of the contributions of men and women from around the world. Emphasizing the importance of context, authors John Edward Hasse and Tad Lathrop present the story of jazz not as a simple narrative, but as a series of encounters among musicians, historical events, musical influences, and social forces. Student-friendly and engaging, REVEL for Discover Jazz gives readers the tools they need to actively listen to – and to build their own relationships with – this great American art form.

REVEL is Pearson’s newest way of delivering our respected content. Fully digital and highly engaging, REVEL replaces the textbook and gives students everything they need for the course. Informed by extensive research on how people read, think, and learn, REVEL is an interactive learning environment that enables students to read, practice, and study in one continuous experience – for less than the cost of a traditional textbook.

NOTE: REVEL is a fully digital delivery of Pearson content. This ISBN is for the standalone REVEL access card. In addition to this access card, you will need a course invite link, provided by your instructor, to register for and use REVEL.
