Version 2 of Final Cut Pro offers a load of enhancements and improvements, such as Real-Time architecture and streamlined set-up, making it invaluable to both new and first-edition users. Final Cut Pro 2 imports nearly all major, professional video formats from the highest broadcast video standard to a full motion-picture-resolution image - most other editors, including Premiere 6.0, edit primarily digital video footage.
Richard Schrand (Madison, TN) has worked in the broadcast industry in various capacities for almost three decades. He has won three Emmy awards and numerous former-BPME Gold and Silver Awards for writing and producing. Recently, he created a company in the Nashville, TN, area that specializes in 3D animation and video production. Since 1995, he has been listed in various Marquis Who's Who publications, including Who's Who in Finance & Industry, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. Richard is the author of six books, including GoLive 5 f/x and Design, Macromedia Web Design Handbook, and LiveMotion Visual Jumpstart. He teaches graphics and Web design courses at Nossi College of Art in Nashville and is in the process of adding video and animation courses to the curriculum.
