Carole Miller, professor emeritus, Department of Curriculum & Instruction, Faculty of Education, and Juliana Saxton, professor emeritus, Department of Theatre, both teach at the University of Victoria, Canada, and hold adjunct appointments at the University of Sydney, Australia. They are internationally recognized master teachers and recipients of Excellence in Teaching Awards. Their award-winning book, Into the Story: Language in Action Through Drama, is used internationally in both elementary and secondary classrooms as a text for pre-service teachers. Juliana Saxton is Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Fine Arts/Department of Theatre, and Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Victoria. She is also one of the authors of Into the Story 2.
