Saper is a portraitist, teacher and author of Painting Beautiful Skin Tones With Color & Light (2001), as well as 2 ArtistsNetwork.TV workshops, Painting Oil Portraits in Warm Light with Chris Saper (10/09, one of ArtistsNetwork.TV's bestselling DVDs for the period of 4/1/10 through 3/31/11) and Capturing the Beauty of Monochrome Oil Portraits (10/09). In her capacity as a faculty member of the Portrait Society of America, she has participated in many classes, panel discussions, hundreds of critiques and countless portfolio reviews, developing a very solid insight into the obstacles that keep artists from seeing and painting skin tones well.
