Norbert Wolf ist habilitierter Kunsthistoriker und arbeitet als Privatdozent und freier Autor in München. Bei Prestel sind von ihm "Albrecht Dürer", die "Welt der Heiligen", "Tizian" und die Reihe der erotischen Skizzenbücher erschienen. Er ist Beitragsautor in der "Geschichte der bildenden Kunst in Deutschland" und forscht zum Thema Mittelalterliche Handschriften und Albrecht Dürer.
