Nashville-based music biographer Jake Brown has published 25 books, including authorised In the Studio titles with Motorhead, legendary female hard rock band Heart, late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur, Jane's Addicition, Alice in Chains, Tracii Guns, alt-rock icons the Meat Puppets, Rick Rubin, Dr Dre, Rick James and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. He is also owner of hard rock label Versailles Records, distributed in the US by Big Daddy Music/MVD Distribution.
