Toki & Bloki

One night in the Valley of Sparks, a small glowing drop of light awakens: Toki. Curious, kind, and still a little wobbly, he begins to explore his world step by step. Along the way, he meets three special companions:
Bloki, a calm and reliable block who carefully keeps everything safe and in order.
Gasi, a lively spark bursting with energy.
And Walleta, a clever house with many doors - and the all-important key to security.
Together, they discover the world of little sparks - a child-friendly metaphor for tokens, blockchain, gas fees, and wallets. Complex technical terms become characters, places turn into adventures, and abstract concepts are transformed into warm emotions. In this way, children not only learn new words, but also essential values: security, teamwork, responsibility, and trust.
This book is ideal for families who want to give children a first glimpse into digital topics - without technology, without pressure, and with plenty of imagination. The light, engaging storytelling makes reading aloud enjoyable for adults as well.
With gentle, atmospheric illustrations and clear, child-friendly language, the book offers a unique way to approach the modern world - without ever needing to name it directly. Instead of complicated explanations, children experience a story about courage, connection, and belonging, while quietly learning the basic principles that shape our digital future.
A warm and magical adventure for children aged 4 and up - and a beautiful introduction to a new and sparkling world.
My name is Markus Goffin - trainer, developer, and storyteller working for many years at the intersection of people, learning, and technology. In my professional life, I create training programs, games, and digital tools that make communication clearer, transform complex topics into something tangible, and help people feel confident and secure - whether in customer service, banking, digital environments, or when encountering new technologies. With Toki & Bloki - The Hidden World of Little Sparks, I am fulfilling a personal dream: to help children - and their parents - understand the digital world in a gentle, playful way, without technical jargon, pressure, or overload. The characters Toki, Bloki, Gasi, and Walleta turn abstract ideas such as tokens, blockchain, gas fees, and wallets into warm, approachable figures that represent trust, safety, curiosity, and togetherness. Toki & Bloki is part of a broader creative journey. Through this childrens book series, modern technology becomes a magical story world where learning happens naturally - through adventure, friendship, and emotion. Abstract concepts are no longer intimidating; they become experiences children can feel and remember. Alongside my storytelling work, I develop projects such as DIA-10, which connects real-world value with blockchain technology to make digital value systems more understandable and trustworthy, and mgoffin.com, a platform for empathy-based learning tools, games, and training concepts used in international projects. I am also the creator of Buuble and Empathy Games, which focus on emotional intelligence, communication, and child-friendly learning. Throughout my career as a trainer, project manager, and tool developer, one guiding principle has remained constant: people should feel safe, understood, and capable of acting. I wrote Toki & Bloki to build a bridge - between technology and emotion, imagination and understanding, parents and children. If, after reading the book, a child asks, Mom, Dad what is a token? - and the parents suddenly have a simple, reassuring answer - then this story has achieved its purpose.
