Critter City's newest neighbor Gertie can't understand why the town has no rules. But she knows that everything can work if everyone works together!
With funny animal crittizens populating Critter City and themes like elections, traffic rules, emergencies, and libraries, young readers will discover why we need the rules and order of society through some of their favorite topics—cars and fire trucks and vehicles that go, everyday heroes like firefighters and teachers, and familiar events like doctor's visits and grocery shopping—without ever feeling like they're learning a lesson.
