Werá Mirim é um menino guarani mbya rápido como um relâmpago, o espírito de seu nome, que cresce na aldeia entre as lições da escola e os ensinamentos ancestrais. Quando um sonho inquietante o alerta sobre uma grande inundação, ele descobre, com a ajuda da natureza e da sabedoria de seu povo, que é possível transformar um futuro ameaçador em um recomeço. Assim, Werá Mirim se torna uma semente de mudança, mostrando que respeitar e cuidar da natureza é cuidar de nós mesmos.

Nasceu na cidade de Santos, São Paulo. É descendente de indígenas guarani mbya, por parte de pai, e de italianos, por parte de mãe. Jornalista e professora, é formada em Jornalismo e Letras, com mestrado em Comunicação e Semiótica pela PUC-SP. Também possui pós-graduação em Teatro Brasileiro, Justiça Restaurativa e Cultura de Paz, Psicopedagogia e Livros para a Infância. Poeta e autora de diversos livros infantis e juvenis, foi editora e coorganizadora do Álbum Guerreiras da Ancestralidade, obra vencedora do Prêmio Jabuti na categoria Fomento à Leitura. Foi finalista do Prêmio Barco a Vapor 2023 e do Prêmio Nelly Novaes Coelho da UBE/USP. Seu nome indígena é Ara Poti, que significa "flor da manhã". A partir de visitas à aldeia da família, na Reserva Indígena Rio Silveira, no litoral de São Paulo, passou a reaprender as histórias, os costumes e a cultura guarani, os quais hoje compartilha em sua literatura. Defende a mãe terra e acredita na força da palavra como caminho para a harmonia. Pela Editora do Brasil, publicou o livro Sementes.
