Icinori are Mayumi Otero and Raphaël Urwiller, an acclaimed French illustrator duo. Otero is known for her playful, ironic drawings and etchings in children’s books, while Urwiller brings his expertise as a graphic designer and illustrator for leading newspapers and magazines. Together they reimagined Issun Bôshi with intricate detail and a style inspired by Asian traditions, creating a work that bridges folklore and contemporary book art.
