Lost Islands, Wild Legends, and the Maps That Sparked Our Imaginations

Set sail on a thrilling voyage across oceans of mystery and myth! An Atlas of Incredible Islands invites young adventurers to explore the world’s most fascinating islands—some real, some imagined, and some that vanished without a trace. From the sunken city of Atlantis to the shifting shores of Buyan, this beautifully illustrated hardcover book brings to life the stories that have enchanted explorers, philosophers, and dreamers for centuries.

This exciting atlas is divided into three unforgettable island adventures: mythical and mythological islands born from ancient legends, literary islands imagined by famous authors, and phantom islands that once fooled explorers and appeared on real maps. Each section invites readers to uncover the stories behind these mysterious places and decide for themselves what’s fact, fiction… or something in between.

Explore the Unknown: Discover islands that appeared on ancient maps, in epic poems, and in the minds of great storytellers.
Ignite a Love for Learning: Encourages curiosity in geography, mythology, literature, and history through vivid storytelling and real-world connections.
Build Research Skills: Inspires kids to dig deeper into the legends, maps, and explorers that shaped our understanding of the world.
Strengthen Imagination: Connects timeless tales to modern life, showing how myths and stories continue to shape our worldviews.
STEM and Humanities Crossover: A unique blend of science, history, and storytelling that supports interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking.
