KAREN SHAPIRO is a children’s book creator who loves to make kids smile with her stories. RACHEL FOO is an illustrator, born in a Malaysian town famous for its beansprouts. She graduated with Honors in Illustration from Curtin University in Australia and worked for several years as a concept artist and visual developer at several indie game development studios in Melbourne before returning to Malaysia to work full time as an illustrator. Her main inspirations are nature and celebrating the joy in the ordinary. When she is not illustrating, she enjoys hiking in the rainforest, urban skating and sharing the joy of making art with children.
