Jane Simmons is the author of some of Orchard's bestselling picture books, including the Daisy range, the Ebb and Flo series and Little Fern's First Winter. Jane has lived in England, Australia, France, Malta and Kuwait in houses, flats, lorries, vans, tents and boats. She studied illustration at Anglia University and has won a number of prizes. These include the Silver Smarties Book Prize, being shortlisted of The Mother Goose Award and Best British Book Award and a Highly Commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal - all for Come On, Daisy!
