AN ADORABLE AND SOOTHING STORY TO GENTLY ENCOURAGE THE BEDTIME WIND-DOWN FROM TWO PICTURE BOOK SUPERSTARS!
It’s bedtime for Little Digger and friends as the sun sets and the stars start to twinkle. As all the other vehicles make their way home, Little Digger isn’t ready to finish work just yet, but even little diggers need to rest so that they can get up bright and early and do their very busy best?
A calming, perfectly pitched text by author Smriti Halls, is delightfully complemented by Sue Hendra's (co-creator of blockbuster series Supertato) charming, fun-filled illustrations. First in a new bedtime series from two picture book superstars!
Soothing, rhythmic text centred on a childhood favourite to encourage little ones to go to sleep.
Fun and appealing illustrations whose colours gradually blend to night-time.
The last picture book you'll need before they go to sleep!

Smriti Halls is an internationally bestselling children’s author whose award-winning books have been translated into more than 40 languages. Her stories are loved by children and adults alike. Recent hits include Rain Before Rainbows and I’m Sticking With You. She has been a Writer in Residence for Booktrust and is a current Patron of the School Library Association. Smriti is South Indian by birth, British by nationality and a Londoner at heart. She lives with her family near Richmond Park, eating pears and dreaming up new stories. Sue Hendra grew up in Wimbledon and has always loved making up stories and drawing pictures. Her favourite book as a child was Mr. Silly. She graduated from Brighton University in 1994 and has been creating picture books ever since. In 2006 she met Paul Linnet and could instantly see that she'd met a fellow nitwit who liked talking nonsense. They went on to create many bestselling books together, working in a small room in their house in Brighton. Sue loves swimming, and can swim up and down for a very long time. Her favourite book is still Mr. Silly.
